Ciras Photography and Irish Eyes Photography and Christmas Cards.

People always ask me, “who does a photographer choose as their photographer?!” The answer is, these guys. This fabulous couple photographed our wedding.  And from the moment I interviewed them as potential photographers, we were hooked on each other.  Seriously.  I can’t get enough of these guys.  I am so happy to have them as...

“Why I Love” Wednesdays – Joyce Silvia

One of the features I’ll be running on the blog while I’m on maternity leave is called “Why I Love This Photo.”  Guest writers submit their favorite photos and the stories behind them.  Anyone can submit a photo and story – it’s a fun way to appreciate photography and what makes it so important.  So...

Rosie Mae is 23 Months Old!

Well, let’s face it, she’s almost 24 months old; this post is L-A-T-E!  Between a horrible stomach bug overtaking the house and the extra sleep (ha!) needed to recover, plus the general craziness of having two kids under two, getting this post together took more time than usual.  Still, the photo itself was taken on...

Conor is 2 Months Old!

Every month, I take a photo of our son sitting in his Uncle Chris’ childhood rocking chair, just like I did with our daughter.  Here is his second month photo… Last month, everyone asked where the Runner Up photos were.  For those new to these posts, with Rosie Mae, I would show off some of...

Got a camera for Christmas and want to learn how to use it? Have you had a camera since ten birthdays ago and you STILL don't know how to use it? Are you just loving photography and want to learn more to better your skills? Well I've got the classes you're looking for.

I offer Beginner and Intermediate classes for grown ups and kiddos alike. Classes are for ages 10 and up. I separate the beginner classes into age groups (10-14, 15-18, 18+) so people can feel the most comfortable with their peers. I also offer private classes for the introverts out there!

Classes are usually in the winter/spring. In addition to scheduled classes, if you want a private class, or, have a group of friends that want to take a class together, we can plan that out. Just call or email me to let me know what you're looking for and I will make it happen! (It IS possible to have classes scheduled in the Summer or Fall but it's just trickier to schedule. So get in touch if you have a desire!)

All classes take place here at the studio in Downtown Hingham MA. At times we do take a walk around the area to stretch our photography skills but we don't venture too far.

Classes are limited to 7 students per class to keep things easy and afford everyone a chance to ask plenty of questions.
