College Yearbook Portraits – Hingham MA

A little over four years ago, I photographed this gorgeous girl for her high school senior portraits.  I was so thrilled when she got back in touch regarding her college yearbook portraits!  She said she knew she could get better images than the company the school hires so could she come back?  The answer was...

Irish Eyes Photography Community Photo Challenge Week #15: Full

This week’s theme was “Full.”  And what a full week it has been.  A week full of sunshine (finally!) and rain.  Of school vacation and of back to school.  Of so many things.  I’ve been realizing how full my life is lately and while all the things that make it so full are wonderful and...

M Family Studio Session

When this client first reached out to me, many months ago, she said she wanted a basic, white, neutral studio backdrop.  It was time for some family portraits, and she wanted her beautiful family to shine.  And shine they did.  This charming quintet completely stole my heart.  This is a family full of love, of...

Irish Eyes Photography Community Photo Challenge Week #14: Pattern

Every week is different.  Some challenge words are more abstract, and some are very visual – like colors, or, in this case, the idea of patterns.  I thought this would be a really fun (and relatively easy) one for people to cozy up to; there are patterns EVERYWHERE!  I love how people embraced this one....

Teenage Acting Headshots – Hingham MA

Five years ago, I walked into rehearsal for A Taste of Broadway – a yearly musical revue that I’ve been a part of for a long time. Four younger girls were rehearsing a number from Matilda.  Some were faces I knew, some weren’t.  The number was absolutely fantastic and I was blown away.  Ever a...

Irish Eyes Photography Community Photo Challenge Week #13: Open

For this week, I wanted a hopeful idea.  I’d have loved to pick “spring” or “bloom” or something along those lines.  But alas, spring has not yet sprung for most of us playing along, no matter how late into April we seem to be.  So, I decided on a play on the word “bloom” –...

Irish Eyes Photography Community Photo Challenge Week #12: Hands

I’ve always been fascinated with hands.  Not just hands – but how differently each pair handles things.  Everyone touches in a unique way and I love that.  I used to love the way Mister Rogers would hold a wooden block or toy – or a paper cup.  He was always so gentle.  Of course, that...

Got a camera for Christmas and want to learn how to use it? Have you had a camera since ten birthdays ago and you STILL don't know how to use it? Are you just loving photography and want to learn more to better your skills? Well I've got the classes you're looking for.

I offer Beginner and Intermediate classes for grown ups and kiddos alike. Classes are for ages 10 and up. I separate the beginner classes into age groups (10-14, 15-18, 18+) so people can feel the most comfortable with their peers. I also offer private classes for the introverts out there!

Classes are usually in the winter/spring. In addition to scheduled classes, if you want a private class, or, have a group of friends that want to take a class together, we can plan that out. Just call or email me to let me know what you're looking for and I will make it happen! (It IS possible to have classes scheduled in the Summer or Fall but it's just trickier to schedule. So get in touch if you have a desire!)

All classes take place here at the studio in Downtown Hingham MA. At times we do take a walk around the area to stretch our photography skills but we don't venture too far.

Classes are limited to 7 students per class to keep things easy and afford everyone a chance to ask plenty of questions.
