Courtney - Weymouth High School Class of 2014 - Webb Park, Weymouth MA - Irish Eyes Photography

My fellow redhead is back!  Courtney, her mother and I have had a great order session, her prints are in her hand (and maybe already on some of your walls) and so now I get to share some more fun moments from our time together.

As I mentioned in her teaser post, it was a gorgeous day at Webb Park when we met for our portrait session.  Courtney brought some great clothing options with her and we had a lot of fun picking out what to wear.  This purple shirt popped so well against the fall backdrop and made her gorgeous hair and skin glow.

In her "senior questionnaire" which I had her fill out before her session, I asked, "If, every time you entered a room, a theme song played to announce you, what would it be?"

Courtney wrote, "Sexy Back."  With a smiley face.  I loved that answer and I think she could totally pull that off!  Especially if the wind catches her hair every time like it did in the photo above.  Haha.

Sometimes, even just a scarf over a white shirt can make a photo "pow!" in just the right way.  This fun and colorful option completely did the job.Courtney also brought along this leopard print scarf.  When we found this spot in Webb Park that looked like somewhere in Africa, the scarf helped add that "oomph" to really make it seem like we flew across the world for this shot!  I am also totally digging this particular shot in black and white.  So dramatic.

With a little prodding from her mother and I, Courtney agreed to wear this pink tee.  You see, for some reason, most redheads don't love wearing the color pink.  I myself am the same way.  But this pink was bright enough (without being neon) that I thought it just might work.  So, we gave it a try.  The result?  I LOVE the way these photos look!  So feminine but without being frilly or intense.  And her hair looks fabulous.  Even Courtney agreed that maybe this pink shirt was the exception to pink shirts on a redhead.  :)

On the same questionnaire mentioned above, Courtney mentioned she would like to be "portrayed as beautiful."  Well, Courtney, that was an easy task.  You are such a beautiful girl.

Thank you so much for the honor of working with you, my friend!  Good luck in all that you do and please enjoy every minute of your senior year!-Kerry:)p.s. to see the entire collection from Courtney's session, and order your own copies, click here.
