Fairy Sessions - Irish Eyes Photography, Weymouth MA
I am so excited to share these with you today, my friends. The first ever Fairy Session weekend was a huge success. I hope you'll enjoy looking at these as much as I had fun creating them.I've chosen my favorite image from each session (well, each session that I'm allowed to share from of course). Some of the images I took and made into something else... a fairy on a flower, or in a tree branch, etc. Those are very fun and I'll share some of those too. But these are my absolute favorites. I love that they're real. These were all taken in my backyard on a drizzly, overcast and foggy day. The weather added this great mood to the images and I really love how deep and dark they are yet the fairy brings the light. Each and every one of these girls was fantastic. I am so lucky to have had such a great crop of fairies (and parents)! These little chicks know how to have fun. We laughed and ran around and got wet and played and got silly... it was the perfect weekend.OK enough out of me. Let's see some fairies, shall we?!?!This was the very first shot I took all weekend. I've got some of this gal smiling but I LOVE this pout/glare!!! That's exactly how I imagine a fairy to be. Spunky. I LOVE it.This next photo - when I first loaded all the images onto my computer and saw this one, I actually gasped out loud. I asked this little one to dance and dance she did!! I can't handle the pose.My next friend had so much energy and joy and excitement it was contagious. She had me cracking up! Her parents must be exhausted at the end of the day. I know; I have one just like her at home!!! Everything about this image is right. I love when kids play with me.My next fairy - the oldest of the bunch - was essentially a model. Between her gorgeous face and that insanely fluffy and awesome tutu, she worked this session like a pro. AND she's as sweet as can be. Seriously. Model.I've photographed this next kiddo since she was only two weeks old. Now look at her, attacking butterflies. Atta girl. Her eyes! LOOK AT THOSE BABY BLUES!!! I die!I don't think I have one image of this little one standing still. She ran laps around my backyard and giggled and made silly faces the entire time. Her gallery is full of so much energy it's awesome. She's awesome. My next friend was so shy but she came out of her shell after I just let her do her thing for a while. I have some lovely images of her exploring and, after she got used to me, I got shots like this. Maybe I have some fairy magic in me. :)I have so many of this little one smiling a great big beautiful smile but this image just strikes me every time I see it. Those eyes. Those brimming-with-emotion, big beautiful eyes. How lovely. I'm pretty sure if Audrey Hepburn was a one year old fairy, this is what she'd look like. And that simple smile on her face?! She's a star. This is legitimately the first person I've ever met who had the same exact color hair as me. Though her mum was a close second. It's gorgeous. And her big blue eyes?! Come on!!! She was so fun. Last but certainly not least, my fairy with the rain boots. I LOVE that she's got rain boots on!!! This made me so happy! And they have teeny tiny fairies on them!! Incredible. She was so fun and she loved posing for the camera. We all had a ton of fun. And then all the time it took to edit was STILL fun. These sessions will be offered as limited edition sessions every spring from now on, starting May 2016. If you're interested in one, let me know. This was a large batch of fairies; from now on it will be a much more exclusive offering without the introductory pricing of this first time.-Kerry:)p.s. here is the link to all of my galleries. You need a password for each one so if you happen to know one of the parents of a fairy, please ask them for it.
