MA Newborn Photography - Toy Story, Marvel and More

Newborn Photography featuring an Andy's Room tribute, Thor the God of Thunder, and a tribute to a relative taken too soon.

Let's dive in to this incredibly fun session.

When a client returns, it's the highest honor I can receive and when they become lifelong clients, it's the best feeling in the world.  This adorable baby is the youngest and newest sibling of the first newborn I ever worked with.*  And while I did his older brother's newborn portraits as well, older brother is best known around these parts as Super Ben. Now it's Andy's turn.  And when you're name is Andy, and your family is made up of Pixar/Disney superfans, you get special setups just for you.  How FUN is this?!  Andy's last name also rhymes nicely with Thor.  So his nickname, while in utero, was Thor D'Amore.  So obviously we needed a Thor shot as well.  The entire costume was made by his grandmother.  She is one talented (and lovely!) lady!  So she's made many things for our sessions over the years  I especially love the button on the cape.I am a sucker for milk spots (the tiny white dots babies get on their faces (technically called milia).  Andy's were so lovely over the bridge of his nose.  I had to get a close up.I've worked on three newborn sessions with these clients now.  They are definitely fans of props and images with a story.  Their ideas are always creative and fun and we have a blast putting them together.  Of all the ideas, Of all the setups - this next one is my favorite.Andy's grandfather passed away at a young age.  From what I've hear, he was a lovely man who was adored by his family.  Andy and his grandfather share a middle name so they decided to pay tribute to him.  Here, Andy lies in a suitcase, wrapped in the sleeve of his grandfather's favorite shirt, with images of his grandfather surrounding him.  Atop the suitcase sits Grandfather's sunglasses. The "arm" wrapped around this sweet little boy gets me every time.   Yup, now I need to wipe my eyes again.Thank you so much, D' Family!  You're the best and I adore you all so very much.  It is such an honor working with you and I cannot wait for our special session up in Maine this summer!!! Stay tuned, the rest of ye!-Kerry:)*if you want to see how far I've come since the early newborn years, take a look at that first session.  Oh my.SaveSaveSaveSave
