Lifestyle portraits in the clients home will always be my very very favorite sessions to shoot. Not only do we get to capture YOU and your lovely family just as you are, but everyone feels safe, comfortable, and relaxed. PLUS, the atmosphere in the background of your images is ALSO your own. Every single detail of the image belongs to you. You aren't just looking at how your family looks in this frozen moment of time, but also how your home -- your life! -- looks! When you look back at these you might say, "oh remember when we had that rug?! I loved it until Junior spilled cranberry juice on it!" or, "Oh, I loved those sweet little bodies sitting at your children's table." It captures your whole story. And that's the essence of why I love being a portrait photographer so very much.

The W Family welcomed their new little baby boy and invited me to come and capture this new time in their lives at home. These children are so kind, so sweet, and so loving. I truly had a blast working with them and I hope this is just the first of many moments captured.
