Oldies but Goodies --- The Hogans

One feature of the new website is a re-visit to photoshoots from the early days of Irish Eyes Photography.  Every so often, we'll get to take a look back at where we first came from, and hopefully how we've grown since then too!

The Hogan family came to me after I did quick dance recital portraits of the two older girls.  Mama Hogan wanted their portraits done outside (my favorite) and so we booked an afternoon to meet at Webb Park (another favorite) in Weymouth, MA.  With two young girls and twin babies, it could have been a very hectic time in the hot summer sun.  Instead, we all had a ball and it made for some great photos!  I look back on my afternoon with the Hogans as one of the first times I really felt capable of doing what I had set out to do... produce great family photos for great families.

The older sisters took such great care of the twins.  Just by being themselves, I was able to get some great shots of a loving and close family.

I love how playful and natural this one is.  This reminds me of my own sister and I.  :)

Just look at the grin on his face!  So adorable!  I was one lucky photographer that afternoon!
