Growing up.

Good morning, readers.  Hope you're warm on this very cold day. Mike and I looked at a house last night.  One we really really like with SO MUCH SPACE for my future photography studio.  The location couldn't be better and it's got so much character.  We like character.  So we're hopeful about this.  I'll keep you updated!  It will be fun to have a house that we can make into our own.  I love DIY projects and, being daddy's girl growing up, I am pretty decent at fix-it jobs.  I went to bed last night with visions of glass subway tiles swimming in my head. :)It's insane to think about though.  We're getting married in a little over 5 months, looking at houses, planning to start a family (as in, just planning, not starting...yet).... and the craziest thing is, we couldn't be more excited! The buying of a house is a bit sooner than we were planning (ideally we were hoping to buy right around the wedding) but this house has been a favorite of mine since I moved to Weymouth 12 years ago.  When it went on sale as soon as we started casually looking I was so excited but it was A: early, and B: out of our price range.  Then the price dropped.... and we just had to see it.  And we loved it. Just because we love it though, doesn't mean we'll get it.  There are a lot of variables and everyone knows buying a house isn't always as easy as it seems.  So we'll see what happens.  But oooooohhhhh I would LOVE to show off that studio to you all when you come over for shoots!  And oooooh I would LOVE to use the gorgeous trees on the property as a backdrop for your photos. We'll see!For now though, we're taking another step into growing up, and we're loving it.-Kerry:)
