Baby K grew up so much!

I love doing the Baby's First Year package. It's amazing to work with the same clients so many times in one year and see the changes. Most of my clients return to me year after year for their portraits (which I take as the highest compliment and am extremely grateful) and it's crazy to see how kids have grown over a year's time. But the Baby's First Year package truly is a wonder to me, as the photographer working with your little ones. I either get to see them monthly, every other month, or quarterly (among other spread-out options) and it's very cool to watch them grow.Baby K, over the span of 2 months, went from being an infant to a curious, happy little baby boy. We had had some photoshoots where he wasn't the happiest camper, and others where he was adorably happy but still in that phase of being unsure and still couldn't really sit up by himself. What a difference two months made! I am so happy with these photos and I think Baby K's Mum and Dad will be too. He is such an adorable boy with a hilarious personality and I am so excited to watch that personality continue to grow and flourish! What an honor it is for me to witness it!

His eyes. Every time I post about him, I can't help but comment on his gorgeous eyes. Happy boy!Exploring.I love this one. Not the most frame-worthy photo of the bunch, but he's exploring the grass around him and taking it in. Such a wonder.Ah, if life were only comfy blankets under friendly trees on warm yet shady afternoons...So happy! And, teeth! Both of Baby K's parents served in the US Army in Iraq. We thought we'd use that as a fun theme this time around. He wears his mother's hat......and his father's jacket.LOL I enjoy this one so much.... the look on his face is priceless. "Um... I'm too young, Ma! Don't send me over there yet!"Again. His eyes. LOVE that he's looking into the camera so you can really experience how deeply stunning they are. (He gets that from his mother)Quick outfit change! Naked boys are happy boys!So cute. Love that he's sitting up by himself. This is one of my fav's.So, so happy!! It was a happy day where we got to truly enjoy being outside and hanging out with one another. Can't wait for his next shoot!
