an adorable christmas session...

I am pleased to show off the winner of our Halloween Photo Contest and some teasers of her Christmas Session we shot earlier today.  Mum, Dad, and all the happy grandparents looking for more photos should note I have quite a few more to work on before posting to the full gallery, but, I couldn't help myself and set right to work on some of my favorites.  And here they are...Waiting for Santa.  I love that Buddy, the dog, is in on the waiting game too.I mean, really.  Don't ya just want to squish her?I always like to include one photo that will make the parents laugh, even if they never order it.  The above one cracks me up every time I come across it.  The excitement is brimming! Love it.Such a happy model!Mum thought it would be fun to stage a scene where, not only was our little one waiting for Santa, but she slept in front of the fireplace to try to catch a glimpse.  I LOVE this idea and it worked really well.  I made this one black and white because it just felt so vintage-charming to me.  As with all my photos, if the parents prefer it in color, I can always take away the edits I made.  For this one, black and white just seemed fitting.So sweet.I think all kids should get wrapped up in lights and have their photo taken.  Not only is it great fun, but, they get  a HUGE kick out of it!  She was entranced!Peek-a-boo!!!

One of these photos might be the chosen one for the family's Christmas Card!  Which one would you choose?  Like I said, the parents have plenty more to choose from, but I was loving this group and thought I'd do an early teaser post.   Are you still hoping to get your holiday card photos taken?  It's not too late!  There are plenty of spots open (even some this weekend!) and turnaround is fast.  These photos were taken only a few hours ago and they're already edited and posted on my blog.  It's definitely not too late!
