A Senior and Her Prom Dress

I had this idea for a fun photo session... sort of a romantic look in a field with a flowing gown.

When I was planning Rachel's Senior Portraits, I asked if she loved her prom dress and if so, could she bring it along for an extra little bit of fun.  She obliged and the gods of photography smiled down upon us because the look and flow of her gorgeous gown worked for what I was looking to do.  Rachel was the perfect model, too.

We did take some shots of her looking lovely and chipper in her prom dress in case she or her parents would rather a smiling shot, but for this photo session, the look lent itself to the idea of a wandering lost lover.  The cliffs, the setting sun, and the open fields were perfect for what I was going for.  Check it out...

(Ok, the above one, she's smiling, but I couldn't help myself; I just love it).

Thanks for humoring me, Rachel!  You looked STUNNING in that color and that dress was perfectly made for you!
