The S Family (Part Two) - Irish Eyes Photography - Boston College, Newton, MA

I teased you last week.  Last night these fabulous folks got to see their gallery up close and personal in my first ever order session in the client's home.  Now, it's time to show them off to you some more!  I can't wait.  I simply loved working with this family.  Let's do this!

I shared a similar shot in the teasers, but I love this one with the families grouped a bit separately.  They must've also liked this one because it was ordered twice! :)

This little girl is lucky to be loved by such wonderful grandparents on both sides.  I love how laid back and happy these three look.  Three peas in a pod! My daughter happens to have a very fabulous Auntie on her mother's side (as well as two on her dad's), and this little one is also lucky to have the same.  Because I know how special my sister's relationship is with Rosie Mae (and because I can clearly see that same type of bond with these two), I wanted to make sure we got a good Auntie shot.  Ahem.  I think we did.

I've already spent three posts talking about how gloriously happy and fun this baby is so I won't bore you and do it again.  Oops.  Just did.  This kid rocks.

These three are a seriously good looking family.  I don't know what their plan is for the future, but I'm putting my vote in that they eventually expand.  And hire me to photograph any new additions.  It's good for business to have such good lookin' folks in my portfolio.  ;)I.  Love.  Daddy-Daughter Photos.  And in a completely different way, I love Mommy-Daughter photos.  I feel like there is a really beautiful relationship that everyone knows about with a Daddy and his Little Girl.  Same with a Mom and her Son.  Or even with a Dad and his Boy.  But there's one combo that gets a bit less attention.  Maybe it's the fear of rotten teenage years with grey hairs and slamming doors ahead, but honestly, the bond between a mother and daughter is so quietly magical.  I truly love capturing it.  Not only because it's stunning, but, if nothing more, it'll be nice to look back on when the little girl is forming her identity and pushing Mum to the limits.  :)  Maybe it's because it evokes a wistful nostalgia for my own little girl (who is still little and lovely...so far).  I don't know what it is.  I just think it deserves more attention.  Mom and her daughter.  Absolutely lovely.  Something about this particular photo seems to really bring that quiet magic home; I think it's the framing of the trees... as if we snuck up upon their quiet moment.  These two are so completely beautiful.I'd like to end on a photo of my favorite new friend.  Little one, because of you, I got to meet your parents, your grandparents, and your aunts and uncles.  So, I just want to say, thanks kid.  Because all of the afore-mentioned people are awesome and I'm better having known them.  And you, you happy little nugget.  You're the most awesome of all.-Kerry:)

p.s. if you're a friend/relative of the family and would like to see the whole gallery, you can visit it here.  Like before, you'll need the password from one of the folks featured above.  To make things easier for Aunties who want to order a little from both sessions, I combined both into one gallery, so if you have the password and link from before, it should still work.  Thanks everyone!p.p.s. if you're REALLY FAST on reading this blog post, the entire gallery might not have loaded yet.  Check back in an hour or so to ensure you see everything.  My connection seems slow for uploads today, so the new photos haven't loaded completely yet.
