The R Family Featured Post - North Andover, MA - Irish Eyes Photography

Today was a pretty great fall day.  A perfect day to share some more favorites from this pretty great fall family photo shoot.  :)  I hope you got to get outside and enjoy the day today!  I'm nursing a cold so I didn't but Mike and Rosie Mae spent lots of time at the playground letting me get some rest.  Hopefully your day was more like theirs!

The teasers for this session were fun, but not as fun as some of the moments I get to share with you today!  We had SUCH a great time.  Check it out.

Who doesn't love being upside down?!?!

This candid moment is such a great in-between shot.  Little Sister is off in her own world, Mom looks on, about to show her a leaf to get her attention, and it appears Dad is grabbing Big Brother to bring him closer for a shot.....

...but NOPE!  Dad grabbed him and pulled into a big huge hug that resulted in both of them toppling over!  I LOVE this shot!!!!!On a slightly more dramatic note, Little Sister was either terribly serious or hilariously funny during our shoot.  This shot was taken during a serious moment and I find it is incredibly interesting in black and white.  Do you agree? And below, hahaha, the quintessential brother-sister shot.  She is so not into his brotherly love in this moment.  Hilarious.Because Little Sister is quite attached to her Mama, it's a rare occasion to get Big Brother and Mama caught in their own moment.  But I was there and ready when Big Brother went from smootching Little Sister's cheek to hugging Mama who was on his other side.  This kid is overflowing with love.Like I mentioned before, Little Sister is quite attached to her Mama.  So when she walked away from a family shot for a few moments, and then ran back in --- into her DADDY'S arms, well, it was an incredibly happy moment.  I love the look on Dad's face... "this hug is coming to ME?!?! YAY!!!"  Once again, the sweetness.  Oh, the sweetness.  I love this family.  They were playing 'Ring-Around-The-Rosie' and he stopped to kiss her hands.  And this time?  She loved it.  :)

R Family, it is ALWAYS a pleasure.  Thank you so much for everything!-Kerry:)
