Grandparents' Photo, 2013 - Irish Eyes Photography
Rosie Mae is not the first grandchild on her dad's side. Every year, Mike's sister and brother's families would get the kids together for a portrait to give to Mike's parents at Christmas. When I, a photographer came along, I got to start taking the photos.
This is the third year I've taken them and the second with our own kid in it. These gorgeous cousins are awesome to photograph and I love taking a couple minutes out of a family visit to grab a quick shot. This year, it was freezing out and I still had my mini session backdrops up in the garage, so it was easy enough to throw the lights on and take a few shots. Here's the winner:
Nana and Pappou were delighted with this year's shot. And it looks like the kids had fun taking it:
Just for fun, I tried a different pose. I love it, and bought a print of it for our house. I love having Rosie Mae with all her cousins up on our wall. I got a print of the official one above too; but I couldn't resist a copy of this one.Just for fun, there's also this shot with our little goofball making faces in the front. :)I love this little tradition. I hope we continue to do it every year. Next year there'll be two more kids in there (Mike's sister is pregnant as well)!

p.s. Technically I hope next year there'll be THREE more kiddos; the oldest step-grandkid is missing from this year's picture because she couldn't get out of the plans she had that day. We missed her dearly and hope she'll be available next year!
