Girl Scouts visit Cupcake Mojo - Irish Eyes Photography Weymouth MA

Today I had the pleasure of watching a local girl scout troop earn their Cupcake Decorating badges at Cupcake Mojo here in Weymouth.  The owner of Cupcake Mojo had asked me to snap a few shots of the fun event for their website and I obliged. 

The girls were full of smiles and excitement from the minute they walked in.  Brittany from Cupcake Mojo lead them in a few fun exercises.  Since this was for a Girl Scout badge, she had the girls draw a picture of them owning their own business, pointing out that Cupcake Mojo was a small female-owned business.  Much like another local business I know of (ahem, wink wink).

Brittany was great with the kids.

Then it was time to learn how to decorate cupcakes!  It was very cool to watch Brittany show off different techniques.

The girls wore aprons to protect their clothes (and uniforms).  I thought it was the sweetest thing to see them all helping each other tie them.

And then it was time for them to decorate the cupcakes.  Which means immediately the first dollop of frosting had to be tasted!

They did great!

There was an epic frosting tower on one...

Epic.

The girls were all so adorable.  I'm glad they had fun.

I think there was frosting on this cupcake at one point.....

Hooray!!!  Awesome job girls!!!  You were great!  Keep having fun and enjoying life in the carefree way that you do.
