Irish Eyes Photography Community Photo Challenge Week #36: Self Portrait
Not surprisingly, this week has a low turnout. Even in the age of selfies, it's always the biggest challenge to turn the camera on ourselves, isn't it? I had grand plans for this week but, like a true mum in the middle of September, I just didn't have the time! I'm not unhappy with my submission though. I found it very interesting that the majority of the submissions were in a black and white filter (including my own)! I had every intention of doing a color portrait as well (I always think I should be in color because my hair color is so much of what makes me me), but I wasn't happy with what I was getting and, my kids needed me. Ah well. Maybe I'll add another one sometime. Yes, you can always take one and add it to the gallery -- no matter how much later you do it. More on that below the reveal.
