The "R" Family - Pond Meadow Park, Weymouth MA

This morning I had the great pleasure in working with another family that's new to Irish Eyes Photography.  The "R" Family was SO FUN to work with!  From Big Brother's happy and outgoing personality to Little Sister's quiet smiles, I had a ball.  Oh, and the parents were pretty awesome too. ;)

In talking with Mum before the shoot, she was hoping for a gorgeous, Autumn-in-New-England look.   Pond Meadow Park in South Weymouth seemed like the perfect place to go play in.  So off we went.  It was a rainy morning but the sun kept peeking through.  It was pretty perfect if you ask me.I love capturing families as they walk together.  That's what all families do, right?  Or try to do?  Just walk through life together.  Lovely. You know me -- gotta celebrate the fun side!  I love the fun side of the "R" Family. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous girl.  Today was the first day Little Sister sat on her Daddy's shoulders.  She loved it - and especially loved bending over to smile at her Dad.  She was cracking her father up.  This was absolutely adorable to watch.Mum and Little Brother shared a special moment, too.I had an idea to throw in some letters for some of the photos.  This is probably my favorite shot of the bunch.  It's unconventional; Dad and Little Brother are in the background and out of focus.  But Mum looks absolutely stunning and Little Sister is happily trying to walk.  Every bit of it is candid even though Mum and Little Sister happened to look at my camera as I clicked the shutter.  Big Brother took such great care of Little Sister.  He put leaves in her hair.  If my brother were to do that, he'd point and laugh.  But this Big Brother then put leaves in his own hair to show her how fun and silly it is.  We were all done.  Ready to go.  Big Brother ventured up this tiny path.  His father called out to stop him from continuing further.  He turned around.  And I got this shot.  Thank you, gods of photography.  Thank you.

(This was also before I got my hug.  Yup, this three year old little boy gave me a hug at the end of our session.  Made my day!)

Thank you for such a fantastic morning, "R" Family!  I hope I get to work with you again!  It was nothing but my pleasure!

-Kerry:)p.s. Mum had told me that she waited A YEAR for the photos from her last photographer.  That is just terrible, if you ask me.  I hope she enjoys getting them the same day from Irish Eyes Photography!
