Baby O - Braintree MA Photography, Irish Eyes Photography
Yesterday I shared pictures of Baby O and his family while we walked around Thayer Academy for a Christmas Card photo shoot. Today, Baby O gets to take center stage and show off his good looks. Check out this cutie pie...
Again we've got a sort of Christmas theme going, as these photos were going to be used for his grandparents' Christmas card. I LOVE the outfits this kiddo brought to the session. I hear 'Grammy Robo' bought the Christmas ones just for the occasion. Personally, I can't deal with this hat:
I may have errupted into a silly, silly woman when his mom put that on his head. I'm not ashamed.
Baby O's grandfather was a Bruins player. They had a shirt made just for baby O with their surname and a his grandfather's jersey number. So awesome. What a great heirloom (for many more babies to wear in their family, I'm sure) and what a great photo op!
Stunning eyes. Just like his mama. Different color (so far anyway), but stunning like his mom.
And you know when this happened I couldn't contain myself. This. Is. Hilarious. And I love hilarious pictures. 
This sweet boy was so good during his session. He just laid around and chilled. At his age, sometimes they don't want anything to do with laying still or being on their bellies. He rocked it. 
Apparently, he rocked hard... because then he suddenly fell asleep. And there is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby.
It was absolutely lovely getting to spend time with Baby O and his family. Like in the last post, because I'm sharing these late (due to Christmas surprises and all that), I get to share what the client had to say. This email came in from 'Grammy Robo' after the new year and it was so incredibly sweet:
"I wanted to pass along a compliment to you and your photography skills. Countless numbers of my friends and family said the photographs on my card and my daughter's were the best they had ever received. Many people said that my daughter's card looked like a photograph you would find in a frame when you purchase it. The perfect picture of the ultimate family moment. You have quite a talent. I told my daughter she should submit Baby O's photos to a modeling agency! Maybe she would not have to go back to work. We all think our grandchildren are beautiful, but I think it is all about the one taking the photo. Congrats to you! Happy New Year!"
That last line... "We all think our grandchildren are beautiful, but I think it is all about the one taking the photo." Whoa. I sat stupefied and humbled. What an amazing, amazing thing to say. Of course, I can't take all the credit; I get to work with the cutest kids around! I am so blessed by such wonderful clients (and their families)!
