Christmas Mini Session #1 - Irish Eyes Photography - Weymouth, MA
First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone!!! 2014 promises to be pretty awesome, so let's all soak it up and enjoy it.
Now that Christmas is over, the cards are all sent out, and presents all unwrapped, I can finally share some of the final sessions I held before maternity leave. The next couple of posts will show off some of the Christmas Mini Session clients that stopped by back in November. We had a lot of fun with these sessions; I hope you enjoy taking a look at them as much as we had during them!
First up, the G Family. This insanely good looking threesome high-tailed it all the way up from the Cape for these shots. I was honored. We started with some family shots and then focused on the little one for the rest of our time.
Wait... did I say threesome? Maybe I meant three-and-a-half-some. Baby #2 due in February!!! I can't wait to meet her! Neither can her big sister. :)
The sun was setting and the light in the yard was gorgeous. Little One had a blast playing with the (unbreakable) ornaments. I loved all the red. It's funny; every Christmas I tend to focus on a different color for decorating and celebrating. Red was big this year for me. Classic, bright, deep red. Little One's adorable outfit worked perfectly with the various setups I provided. It was awesome. After the family shots, we headed inside to take some clean and crisp studio shots. It was warmer in there and Little One got to play a bit. She loved that. I really dug the Winter Wonderland backdrop this year. I think it looks classy without looking tacky as so many backdrops can do. Phew! It's such a hard job picking backdrops! Glad this one worked out!I love this shot! She's suspicious of me. I don't blame her. LOL.This is my favorite from the bunch. Little One is a sweetheart - a shy and reserved sweet little lady. While my little lunatic Rosie Mae (born the same day down the hall from each other) is boisterous, Little One just takes it all in. They have so much fun together and their personalities really compliment each other. This shot, to me, captures Little One so well. She's so darn sweet and, even though she's quiet, she's taking in everything around her. Smart little nugget. She's awesome. I'm so glad she is Rosie Mae's friend. As quiet and shy as she can be though, Little One also has a great deal of sweet sass. Just the right combination. :)We had so much fun during this session! I am so happy I finally get to share these with you.
Another Christmas Mini Session will be featured tomorrow so be sure to like Irish Eyes Photography on Facebook to see more cuteness.
