Christmas Cards through Irish Eyes Photography

As you well know, it's the holiday season (do-do-doo-do-do-doo-do) and we're excited this year because, not only do we offer Holiday Portrait sessions as we always have, but this year, we're even offering to make your Holiday cards for you!

We have two collections to choose from... Merry Modern and Nostalgic Collection.  Within each collection, you can customize your card in various different ways.  Choose from four high quality paper types, four color palette options, a whole slew of lovely well-wishing phrases for the inside/back of your card, and you can mix and match between six front templates, six inside templates, and six back templates.  You can also choose between a folded 5x7 card or a flat 5x7 card.  Envelopes included.

Our first order has arrived at the studio and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.  The winner of our Halloween Contest received her free portrait session and 25 free cards.  Mum and Dad got right on their order after their session and picked out all their customizations.  I think they did a great job.  Here is the card in all its glory...

This one is from the Nostalgic Collection.  It's a flat card with a pearl paper finish.  They picked the "pine" color palette from the collection and, quite wonderfully, used three photos from their session in which their daughter was wrapped in lights -- working with the theme of the card for a seamless look.  I love all the choices they made.  The card has a wonderful vintage feel to it, and the pearl paper makes it extra special and gives it that edge that a regular glossy card from the online photo super-stores can't compete with.

Here's a look at the card with the "Twinkle" wording detail more in focus.

For the back of their card, they went with this simple yet lovely layout.  What I love about this is, it makes the front of the card the real star of the show, but even on the back, what's most important is what they want to say to the people they send the cards to.  They picked a lovely sentiment from the list of possiblities that also goes with the twinkling lights theme, and then added their own signature (blurred out in this photo for privacy). And just one last look at the front.  We're pretty ecstatic about the collections we're offering this year.  They will be available next year as well, possibly with even more additions, so if you're all set for this year's holiday cards, keep us in mind for next year!

We'll have more examples to show you as orders arrive.

Happy Holidays!
