Father's Day Mini Session #2

After our Father's Day Mini Session day got cancelled due to weather (twice!), everyone got to reschedule based on what worked best for them.  In this case, since we rescheduled the time, Mom asked us to change the place too, since she had a great idea for a backdrop.  I happily obliged and met Mom and Baby K at Mom's office --- she is the Director of Veteran Services for the Town of Weymouth*.  In her office hangs a big American flag and, since she had always intended to dress in her Army uniform (with Baby K in a mini-version), the backdrop was appropriate.(Baby K is no stranger to military photo shoots; check out this one from one of his Baby's First Year sessions.  Incidentally, I titled that shoot "Baby K grew so much!"  I can NOT believe how big he is now!  I am so honored to have returning clients.  Getting to watch and capture them grow is so humbling.)Aaaanyway... This session isn't just a surprise for Dad; it's a surprise for her father and grandfather too -- and all are Veterans of the US Military.  Today was an appropriate day for this shoot; not only is it Flag Day, but it's the Army's 237th Birthday as well.  With the family, the office, and the day itself all cloaked in military history, it was a very 'Proud to be an American' moment.  :)Enough out of me.  Check out the cuteness!I've still got more Father's Day shoots to share once they happen, so stay tuned!  I am loving the variation so far just between this one and the first!-Kerry:)*If you're a veteran living in Weymouth, be sure to contact her office to make sure you're getting all the benefits you deserve.  She's fantastic at her job and she'll take care of you.  I don't like to share names here for privacy reasons, but you can always look her up or get in touch by calling the town hall.  Thanks for serving our country!
